Oakland sends Crisp back to DL

05/26/2010 - Baltimore, MD (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - The Oakland Athletics put outfielder Coco Crisp back on the 15-day disabled list on Wednesday with a strained intercostal muscle on his right side.

Crisp, who has played only two games this season due to a broken finger at the end of spring training, has two hits in six at-bats this season. He signed with the A's in the offseason after batting .228 with 14 RBI and three homers in 49 games for the Royals in 2009.

To replace Crisp on the roster, Oakland recalled catcher Landon Powell from Triple-A Sacramento. Powell, who was Dallas Braden's battery mate for Braden's perfect game on Mother's Day, is batting .231 with three RBI in 13 games for the A's this season.
